In reply to the person asking about using the Amiga in Europe! I brought my Amiga 500 from Australia (50 Hz, 240VAC) to the USA (60Hz, 110VAC) without any trouble. Well, to qualify that, I brought only the computer itself and got hold of another power suply and monitor when I got here. I'm happy because I still have my PAL display. The power supply unit in the 1081 monitor that I had in Australia was separate from the main circuitry so I suspect that you could exchange it with a new module from CBM but I decided to invest in a new 1084S after selling my old one back home before I left.
