Hopefully this might help someone else out there with a similar configuration. A problem exists with the following hardware combination: A2000 rev 4.3 Microbotics 8-UP! memory board 2090 controller (ST-506 mode) It may not be noticeable at first if you add the memory board after you've already been using the 2090 (as in my case). But you will eventually experience unexplained GURUs and file system corruptions and you probably won't be able to recover. I don't really have a clue as to what the problem is or which part is at fault. I tried to correct it with different MountList entries (bufmemtype, mask, etc) to no avail. My solution was to replace the Microbotics with a SupraRAM 2000 board (so I could reuse the same DIP chips) and all is well. I guess the lesson here is to make sure that combination works on your Amiga before you purchase an add-on board (accelerator, disk controller, memory expansion, etc).
