Fried my computer, need help!
Tried the Chris Erving A1000 memhack to bring A1000 to 1 meg. On power up got
error:
Power Led blinks, Gray screen, Light gray screen, green screen & Power led
Blinks 4 times, gray screen, green screen & power led blinks 4 times...
^^ ^^ ^ ^^
Fiddled with new memory chips. No change. Backed out Erving memory hack. Now
A1000 should be back in it's original state. No change. Still same error
at power up. Try new daughter board. No change.
I figure I fried one of the memory chips on the mother board. But, which one?
The blinking led -should- indicate which chip, but nobody local knows what it
means.
ANYBODY know what <Green screen & power LED blinking 4 times> means?
