I'm trying to figure a problem with an A-500: The first screen color during the startup self tests is a sort of purple/magenta kind of color. This is not one of the standard fault indicators that I've seen posted here (e.g., Red = bad ROM; blue = bad custom chip). Any ideas about what would give this color?
