I am going to be purchacing an A3000 in the near future and am wondering about monitors. Would anyone recomend another monitor other than the 1950? I am looking for something that is as least as nice as the 1950, and in the same price-range ($100-$200 variance). It would be nice if it had NTSC input, but that is not absolutly necessary. Please e-mail me any responses, as I don't have time to check the news on a regular basis. I will summerize and post the results. Always csider NEC or Mitsubishi monitors. When I get my A3x00 in January, I'll get an NEC MultiSync 5D. The reasons: NEC makes great monitors. The 5D will work with anything. The screen is 20" and supports 24 bit graphics. :) Joseph Hillenburg Secretary, Bloomington Amiga Users Group joseph@valnet.UUCP ...!iuvax!valnet!joseph "Only Apple could slow down a 68030 chip." -Computer Shopper

It even supports "99bit" graphics or any other arbitrary number since all these monitors have _analog_ RGB inputs which can handle arbitrary color resolution. The NEC 5D is a fine monitor but it's nothing special to "support" 24bit graphics.
