Does anyone experience software problems using the A590? For example if I use Xoper my Amiga will guru as soon as I exit, although I have opened a Custom Screen. Are there any known bugs concerning the AutoBoot roms or the FastFiling system. I happen to have an early version of the A590 (146xx) The reason I ask this is that I know that the A590 does something with location 0. In my opinion it should not do that, ie the Imploder will just hang up if the location isn't zero. To run it I will have to clear the location first. This indicates that normally, the location is 0. I have an A590 with rev 6.0 roms in it. There has been much flying about the net about A590s trashing $0. Is this fixed by the 6.1 roms? Are they the latest? Just what do the latest roms fix over my 6.0 ones? I have also heard of an A590_fix.lzh but know nothing of its contents. Can someone please sort all this out. All the little fragments of info I've picked up don't add up to a clear picture of what's going on. Thanks in advance, Greg Palmer. G.Palmer@qut.edu.au
