This is a weird question, but what the heck...
I use the little program called "ECSTEST" on my 1000 (of course I didn't
expect it to find the new Agnus (heheheh)). It did say something I DIDN'T
expect it to tell me, however. It told me I had a "normal" Agnus chip, but
that it was PAL!!! If this is indeed the case, and the program isn't just
unreliable on a 1000, is there any way that I might be able to wire a switch
in there somewhere to throw that sucker into PAL mode? Obviously, the
software booters won't work as they are designed for the Fat (Plump, Grossly
Obese, etc..) Agnus chip.
Anyone have any clues on this one?
