[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Rewritable Optical disks

swansonc@grendel1.acc.stolaf.edu (Chris Swanson, St. Olaf College) (12/13/90)

I am looking for re-writable optical systems for a SCSI bus (Amiga).
I would like to do it as cheaply as possible (both original layout and
media costs). Any density is ok if it is over 200 MB or thereabouts.
The system would be running under Unix sysVr4, so a generic Unix
driver would work. If there was an Amiga driver available, or sources
for a driver available, that would be a plus but it is not necessary.

What systems are out there and what am I looking at for costs and
capacity? I would be eligible for an educational discount, if available.

Please reply via e-mail and I will post a summary if there is enough intrest.

Thank's for your time,

	-Chris

I would deny this reality, but that wouldn't pay the bills...
