I have an Amiga 1000 with a Starboard 2, a StarDrive SCSI controller, and a Quantum 105-meg drive. DiskPerf tells me I'm getting about 70k/sec out of the drive with 512K buffers. Now, I bought the controller for its price, not its speed, so I'm not too concerned, but I'm just curious if anyone else is getting better performance out of the controller, and what they're doing to get it. (Since the drive is a Quantum, I'm presuming its speed isn't the limiting factor. Heh.) nj
