[net.followup] Seeking a good FTN77 book

hjb@whuxj.UUCP (Harry J. Benson) (03/09/84)

When I requested suggestions for a good book on FTN77, I suppose I should
have amplified the request more, since I have been receiving suggestions
and comments regarding the FORTRAN language in general and only a couple
that were directly related (or titled) to FTN77, the current ANSI standard.
What I am looking for is a book that supplements and clarifies the ANSI
document and the IBM tomes. A good example of a "follow-up" type of book on
a language is Stephen Kochan's book "Programming in C", which provides good
examples of the usage of a programming language.
