[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Looking for Amiga hardware revisions.

miket@masscomp.ccur.com (Mike Truax) (12/17/90)

I'm looking to more experienced Amiga owners for help. I am considering
getting into the Amiga world and need a little background. I haven't
followed this group for a while and need to know about hardware revisions.
What I would like to find out is:

What is a acceptable revision of the motherboard for todays uses of
new hardware.

About the A2090, is this autobooting? Is there a drive size limitation
and can this board hold any memory?

Aside from this, are there any things about a used Amiga that I would like
to know. Actually, not so much a used Amiga, but just an older one. I
should mention that I'm considering a used A2000. Also, are upgrades for
the hardware usually resonably priced(just though I'd throw that one in :-) ).

Thanks for any info.
