Hi. Forgive me if I commit any solecisms, I am fairly new to news. I have two questions that quite probably have been answered somewhere else. :-) Firstly, I have a 2500/030 with the AT bridgeboard. Lately, the bridgeboard has been VERY confused. Either the floppy disk never stops spinning, or I call up "PC Color" and get yellow and cyan blotches in the PC window. Removing the bridgeboard and reinserting it seems to clear up the problem for about a half and hour at a time. Is this a familiar problem, or do I have a bad board? Secondly, I ordered a Toaster a week and a half ago from Creative out in CA. When they hadn't charged my credit card yet as of today, I called to ask about the status of my order. They told me that all Toasters had been recalled and that new versions were only now starting to ship. I asked what the problem had been, and the guy said ``They weren't toasting,'' but that now every board is being checked by hand by NewTek. My immediate reaction was to start up my newsreader (which has a horrible interface, which is one reason that I usually don't read news) and see if I could glean any details from comp.sys.amiga. I didn't see anything, so either I was looking in the wrong subgroup, or articles have expired, or no one has heard about this, or the dealer was confused. So, is there any validity to this story? And can anyone help with my bridgeboard? Sending copies of any replies to me at amgreene@mit.edu would be appreciated. Thanks muchly, Andrew Greene <amgreene@mit.edu> [Sorry, no .sig yet.]
