[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] A590 questions

beo@maestro.htsa.aha.nl (Jan -BeO the PeO- van Veen) (12/18/90)

Hi, I just bought a A590, (ah only 70ms HD :^() and wondered,
In the HDsetup program they are talking about IDE as were it
an XT interface, but I was under the impression that it was
an AT interface. Can someone enlighten me?

I remember some article being posted about possible problems
concerning the A590 and the NULL memory location. Is there
someone who still has an article about this and willing to
  mail this to:
beo@maestro.htsa.aha.nl (Jan -BeO de PeO- van Veen)

Thanks in advance, greetings,
(Merry Christmas, Happy Newyear, Nice Easter... :^)

There exists an 8-bit version (XT) and a 16-bit version (AT)
of IDE. The same two versions are used in the Commodore PCs
PC 20-III (XT) and PC 30/40-III (AT).
