[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] The Amazing Computing A1000 KS ROM Hack?

orb@pnet01.cts.com (Randolph Turner) (12/12/90)

  Hi Folks,
I have heard about this hack, and would like to see what was
involved in sticking a KS ROM in the 1000. Unfortunatly, this one was out
before my time as an Amiga owner. So, if anyone has this issue/article, I
would appreciate a photocopy or even a direction to a file that might contain
all the info and schematic. I'll happily pay the postage charges.

Thank You,
Randolph Turner

As an A1000 owner, I would be interested in this, too! Please post
the issue number and other pertinent information.

It can be found in Amazing/Amiga Volume 5, No. 5 May of 1990.

Call 1-800-345-3360 and ask about ordering back issues.

I got this info off the last page...good luck.

As the author of the article, I can safely say it is the May 1990
Issue of Amazing Computing (page 67 I believe). I can repost the article
up here or e-mail to those interested. Let me know.

p.s. out mailer is down for about a week, so no e-mail coming (and maybe even
going)
