19" Analog RGB Color Monitor For Sale Amiga owners take note!!! I have a new Hitachi Ltd. Type HM-1719B-6 19"analog RGB monitor. The monitor has 4 BNC jacks for it's RGB and composite sync inputs, as well as loopthrough BNC connectors (to daisy chain additional monitors) and a switch to enable internal 75 ohm termination resistors if it is the last monitor in the chain. This monitor works flawlessly with an amiga, and I can supply an adaptor to let you plug your normal amiga monitor cable (with a db9 connector on the end) to the monitor for a slight additional charge, or I can show you how to make your own. Front panel controls for brightness, contrast, and screen degaussing. Rear panel controls feature sync selection (internal or external on the BNC jack) and the above mentioned 75 ohm termination switch. The phosphor is of higher persistence then the phosphor on a normal monitor. This means that bright objects that are moving fast on a dark background will smear a little. To be honest, this looks pretty bad on some games, but, on the plus side, if you do any work on your amiga that uses interlace mode the monitor does not flicker. I have tested it with both photon paint and deluxe paint in interlace mode and it looks *sharp*. I want $500.00 for the monitor plus shipping. This is a very nice monitor with less then 10 hours use on it (no screen burn etc.) If you are local to the Ithaca area you are welcome to come over and see it for yourself. Please note that a monitor of this size is not light and I will most likely have to build a small crate to ship it in. Shipping will have to be via bus or truck and may be fairly expensive.
