[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] A2000 rev 6 mother board problem

I am hoping that someone can help me with a problem I am
having with my A2000.  It seems that that the revision 6
mother board is not able to use the 8up memory board I just
got for christmas, and the only thing that will help is to
upgrade my mother board.  This is way too expensive to do
for a 2000, but I was also wondering if since this was a 
design flaw (or so I assume from what two dealers said) if
commodore would pick up the cost for the upgrade.  Or, if
there is an easier (cheaper) way to deal with this problem.

ps.  just curious, but why is does this problem exist?  One 
technicion said that it was the wrong power level, or something
like that....
