Please send replies to UN106153@WVNVMS.WVNET.EDU. I am using a friend's account. I know of a person with an Amiga and a copy center. He wants to use his Amiga for something other than playing games. The first thing that popped into my mind when I heard this was RESUMES. He could use AMax-II and some Mac WP programs to make his Amiga useful. So my question is which laser printers will work with AMax-II? Will these printers produce all the graphics of a Laser Writer? Are they postscript compatible? Will these printers work with the Amiga? He may not want to pay $500 - $600 for an AMax-II system. Which laser printers will plug into an A500? Will they print postscript files generated with an Amiga WP? Thank you Shane Saddler UN106153@WVNVMS.WVNET.EDU

Have you tried out FreeHand or PageMaker on a MAC ? See guy, I've got an 68030/882 on 50 MHz running in my 4 MB System (130 MB HD) and PageStream *is* (snail *)slow. I've used to work with a standard oldfashioned Mac II. It was faster. This MAC only contained a 68020 at 25 MHz. I haven't tried Amax on my system -- someone knows something about Mac SW speed? -- +----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+ | Michael Goeckel | taigati@mgbo.toppoint.de | | Hohenzollernstr. 114 | ZERBERUS: taigati%MGBO@KRISKI.ZER | | D-5200 Siegburg +------------------------------------------------------+ | ++49-2241/55919 | Would you mind me kissing you? | +----------------------+------------------------------------------------------+
