I'm looking for a SCSI interface for my 500 to hook up a hard drive. I can get an A590 from Commodore for $410 (new, ED. discount). Is this my best alternative or are there some other suggestions out there? Are there any plans for a do it yourself SCSI interface for the A500? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!!

Somewhere in the vast herd of floppy disks that are roaming through my house, I have the schematics for a SCSI controller for an A-1000. It appears to be a relatively simple board that could be wire wrapped. It should be very easy to convert this to work on an A-500.
