I'm having some troubles with my SCSI controller. Basically, if I leave a disk in drive 0, the harddrive won't automount, and subsequent mounts give me disk read/write errors (this still booting from my AT drive; i.e. with a *non*-bootable drive disk in drive 0. My setup is as follows: A3001 w/ AT drive Pacific Peripherals SCSI controller w/ Autoboot daughterboard Seagate 157N for the PP controller Bridgeboard & Internal modem (if it makes any difference) Either way (w/ w/o a disk in the drive) I'm still booting from the same drive, but somehow it gets messed up if the disk is there. Also the PP firmware seems to destroy my recoverable ram disk. If anyone has a fix for these problems please mail or leave a note. A current phone number for Pacific Peripherals would also suffice. -kls (It used to work better without the daughter board. Wish I still had the old chips...)
