I have an ALegra RAM board that I bought used from a friend. It has 512k and is supposedly upgradable to 2 MB's with 1m x 1 drams(which I have). The board is made by Access Associates, and is for the A1000. The problem I have is that it won't recognize the RAM when I put the 2mb's in it. And since there is no jumper to change the config of the board, It only recognizes the first 512k of the 2MB's. I have no documentation for it and the company is out of business, so there is not an upgrade kit available for it (as stated in an Amiga World Ad '87) PLEASE! someone help me! I need any info that would lead me to find a manual or a way to configure it to recognize the RAM. It is supposed to be "fully" auto-config. the designers name is on the board too (Steve Grant) which sounds familiar. I called him and never got a call back since someone else took my message.
