The empty sockets in my A2091 softly whisper "Fill me, fill me..." The local IBM Clone Discount Store (tm) sells DRAMs that work in their computers. They have 256Kx4 (80 ns) chips which have the following markings: AAAIM304P-08 NMBS 9051 (I suppose the 1's could be I's and v.v.) Unfortunately, the people in the store were quite confused when I asked certain probing questions such as "Who is the manufacturer of these chips?" and "Are they CMOS or NMOS?" Even their purchasing agent didn't know. Sigh. Of course if it is CMOS my A2091 will like it, and if it is NMOS my A2091 may blow up or something. So if anyone can give me any hints about this chip, please drop me a line. Thanks! rjw@space.mit.edu \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
