-> I have an ALegra RAM board that I bought used from a friend. It has -> 512k and is supposedly upgradable to 2 MB's with 1m x 1 drams(which I -> have). -> The board is made by Access Associates, and is for the A1000. -> The problem I have is that it won't recognize the RAM when I put the -> 2mb's in it. And since there is no jumper to change the config of the -> board, It only recognizes the first 512k of the 2MB's. You need to change two PALs in the unit to get it to recognize the 2 megs of RAM. Findig the PALs may be difficult, since they have not been made for years. I got my set (about 3 years ago) from Abel's.
