That's the same I heard. You must take off all memory beyond 256 KB
off your bridgeboard and then it is said to work with the inboard.
Ok, I never saw this myself, I only heard it from second hand,
no guarantee!

I got a 386 accelerator, a Mach20 board. I bought it because I have a
Zenith PC compatible and I wanted to upgrade the processor, but I found that
the Zenith is not fully hardware compatible with the PC so I am stuck with
this 250 dollar piece of hardware. If I can put it on 286 bridgeboard that
would be great...

Thanks for the reply ---- say... you got a 286 Bridgeboard? Or just wishing?!
Anyway did you find any compatability problems with Mach20? Like the MSMouse
emulation not working? (Seems that happens the most with 386 accelerators)
Also who makes it and where could I find one? I will post my final results
after I receive all info on accelerators for the 2088.
Oh by the way there is a version of the INBOARD 386 that is suppose to work
with '286 machines.

I called INTEL and asked if they had heard of anyone using the INBOARD 386 PC but after some dancing around they told me they don't recomend the INBOARD 386
with any "back-planed" type PC. Soooo I guess I'm plunking down the $$$ and
see if it will work. If it doesn't I'm sure someone out there with a XT
would love to have it become a 16Mhz PC with 3 megs of xtra ram? ;-)
Later!!! Guy Dandrea
