I have an Apple IIgs and an Amiga 500. I would like to connect the printer to both computers. Because the Imagewriter is connected to an Apple Serial port and will be (hopefully) connected to an Amiga Parallel port, I'm a bit concerned about the cabling/A-B setup. Can someone suggest a mail-order supplier where I might could find the equipment necessary for such a task? Also, I will need a driver (assuming its not on one of the packages I currently have--I haven't really searched yet) Any information would be greatly appreciated! Eric

Well, mine now prints in full color. I got my cable mail order but they got it from readmond cable as a ImageWriter II to IBM/XT cable, works great. > Also, I will need a driver (assuming its not on one of the packages I > currently have--I haven't really searched yet) > The driver is on the Extras disk. You need to mess around with Preferences for a while to get it to work. Set Baud at 9600, 8N1, RTS/CTS for handshaking, buffer of 512. This is how my setup works. > Any information would be greatly appreciated! > > Eric BTW, the IW II is a serial printer, it will not hook up to the parallel port without a serial/parellel converter, about $90-120. BTW, Redmonds # is 615-478-5760 for the East coast, 206-882-2009 for west. Sean Mental@bluemoon.uucp
