[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] SMD to SCSI

aliu@aludra.usc.edu (Alex C. Liu) (02/01/91)

Hi, I have access to a 80MB SMD drive, and I was wondering if it is
possible to connect it to the A2091 SCSI controller from Commodore.
I know that I will have to use a SMD to SCSI converter. So is that
possible to obtain? If so, how much would it cost? Where? When?
Any replies would be appreciated. (If you have a SMD to SCSI
converter that you would like to donate or sell for a good price would
be great too)

Thanks in advance

I believe Adaptec sells a SMD to SCSI converter, although I'm not sure how it works.
If you do find out anything, please let me know since I also have some SMD drive
(CDC9762) that I would like to run on my Amiga.
