Hi folks, A friend of mine has an A3000 (25Mhz; 50Mb hard drive) He recently bought 8 ZIPS (80ns; ??4Mx1??). He installed them Friday night. Anyway, his machine now runs... well, runs is a bit strong. It runs for about 5 minutes, then one of two things happen: 1) His monitor "spazzes" out; Seriously, looks like a kalidescope. The machine locks up at this point. 2) The machine locks up, cold, with no kalidescope display. In either case, the machine is frozen. It will not soft boot; It will not even successfully hard boot. If you wait a little while, (3 minutes maybe), and boot 1.3, then it may run for a little while; Then the cycle repeats. It is impossible to boot 2.0 once the machine freaks out without first booting 1.3 and then rebooting 2.0. If you could please supply pointers to the problem, I'm sure he'd be grateful.
