[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] WD scsi II chip

What would be involved in switching the scsi chip in the 3000 with the
pin-compatible WD scsi 2 chip?  Would there be any incompatiblity problems
in the system (hardware and/or software)? How expensive is the scsiII chip?
