[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Need ULowell board info

mpierce@ewu.UUCP (Mathew W. Pierce) (02/06/91)

I have a few questions about the ULowell board. I asked these questions
about a month ago, but our system went down and we just now got usenet back
on line.

1)	Will the ULowell board work with intuition stuff?
2)	How compatible is the board with existing product?
3)	What is the cost?
4) Is it released anywhere yet?
5) What resolutions and colors will it support?
6)	Will separate includes and libs be needed to allow programs to use the
board, or will it be transparent to the applications?

Thanks in advance,

Mathew Pierce`

As the ULowell board does not use a bitmapped display like the
inbuilt Amiga modes, it will not be very compatible with existing
software at all! Most programs assume a bitmapped display. Programs
will have to specially cater for this board.
