[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Epson LQ-510 and Amiga Problem

bobl@bobsbox.rent.com (Bob Lindabury) (02/11/91)

I'm not sure if this a hardware or software problem but I am having some
difficulty printing from the Amiga to my LQ-510 printer. It seems that no
matter what I do I keep getting double spaced lines of text. I am printing
primarily from Excellence! 2.0 to this beast. No, I don't have LF after CR
turned on on the printer. Any suggestions?

Also, I am runing it from WB 2.02 if that is anything to worry about. I've
also tried other WP's and gotten the same thing which indicates either a
hardware or configuration problem. I can't find anything in prefs to fix
the problem. Please send me e-mail as I am temporarily unable to get this
feed.

I hooked it up to my IBM AT and have had no problems.

Thanks.

I have the same printer hooked up to my A3000 and have never had any problems
at all with it. Then again, I'm not using Excellence either. You might want
to check your preferences settings and such, or maybe the dips on the printer.

I have noticed that the 2.0 preferences printing does seem to do a much better
job with with graphics printing on my LQ than the 1.3....
