My internal drive has died ono my Amiga 1000, and I need another one, but I would like to go and replace it myself instead of buying one from an Amiga dealer, since the price is usually more that way... (I know most of you are probably saying, scrap the 1000, and buy a real Amiga, well the A1000 is the only Amiga that I consider a "real" Amiga, and it has served me faith- fuly for many years. Plus I have a hard drive and memory on it!) I would rather not get a Chinon drive, but I welcome the parts numbers for it as well. I currently have an NEC drive, can some smart soul send me the parts numbers of all of the drives (or as many as you know) that will work as internals for the A1000. I think that it is important to stress A1000 because some drives work, but don't match the faceplate on the A1000 so the button can not fit right. Thanks in advance.
