griff@anvil.hf.intel.com (03/01/91)

Ok, I'm not sure this will work. I'd like to hook up a NEC 3d to
my 2000 - and from looking at pin-outs this looks like the adaptor
I'll need - Can anybody tell me if this will work?

Except for some variation in grounds, this is the pinout I used,
and it works fine.
I picked up one of the 15 pin to 25 pin RS232 adapter shells
(about two inches long), and did all the cross-wiring in that.
Of course, the 23 pin connector is a little loose, but it
works fine. When (not if) you get your A2320
display enhancer, you can toss the adapter.
The NEC 3D will connect directly to the 2320.
The display enhancer is the reason I purchased the NEC, and they
work great together.
