...well, not really, but it's bad anyway. I accidentally connected an
internal floppy drive's power line the wrong way (yes, the power was
on). A very small lightning could be seen, and after that the machine
won't boot. (The floppy drive connectors are protected against
installing the power the wrong way, however it is still quite possible
to get electrical connection before the connectors refuse to align...)
The power connectors were just 180 degrees wrong, ie. no sideways
error.
Status: critical, won't boot
Symptoms:
o Black screen (doesn't change, doesn't blink), no boot colors
o The keyboard works for a couple of seconds after power-on (the
shift-lock led indicates the shift-state correctly), then it
probably miss the main cpu and stops working/tries to reset
the machine, which fails.
o No led flashes
Help appreciated, although it looks bad for old Calvin!
