[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] battery-backed clock speed adjustment

chiuk@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu (Kenneth Chiu) (03/08/91)

I thought that this might be on the FAQ list, but it wasn't. A long
time ago, before I had a 2000, there was a discussion and I believe a
posting from Dave Haynie about adjusting the rate of the clock. There
is a capacitor or a pot somewhere on the board that can be adjusted.
If anyone remembers where it is, and the approximate affects of the
adjustment, I would be most grateful. Thanks.

There is a small trimmer towards the front of the computer in the middle. All
of the ones I've seen are yellow. If I remember right, CCW speeds up the
clock.
