I will soon be adding a 50 Mbyte HD to my A500. I cannot see any big differences in the GVP Series II and the Supra, except that the GVP appears to be faster (on the basis of the recent AmigaWhirled article). I am, however, interested in reliability as well. Can anyone offer any recommendations one way or the other? (Glowing praise and brickbats cheerfully accepted!) Also, my A500 is rather old, and has the 1.2 ROMs. I know that I need to upgrade, although I have been told that some GVP drives either come with this ROM, or have some other mechanism to auto-boot from the HD.
