[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] ICD Flicker Free Video

laughlin@fornax.UUCP (Bob Laughlin) (03/09/91)

Has anybody used this device? I believe it plugs into the Denise
socket(?) and has a few megabits of ram on it. It deinterlaces the
Amiga interlace modes as does the Flicker Fixer and Commodore's
display enhancer. Price is in the low $300's. The major feature
is that it does not tie up the video slot. Are there any owners
out there who would like to give us their assessments?

Does anyone have any experience using the ICD Flicker eliminator? According to
the advert in a british magazine it fits on the Denise socket and so is
compatible on both the 500 and 2000. Please mail me if you have more info.

Thanks.
