Is anyone familiar with a hardware modification of the Microbotics Starboard II to work with old (pre MidgetRacer) CSA 68020 boards in the Amiga 1000. Over three years ago I purchased a SB II and the CSA board. Either worked fine by themselves but didn't work together. Based on CSA's suggestion a change was made to the SB II board (it was a single capacitor change to my recollection). The modification made the SB II work with the CSA board, but not with the original 68000. (This is not the modifications to the A1000 to quiet bus noise.) Now I want to convert the SB II back to work with the 68000. Unfortunately I don't remember which capicitor or what value it should be. The dealer that made the change is no longer in business. Anyone out there familiar with the problem? Can anyone shed some light? Anyone know the phone number of CSA? -- Tim Cullip cullip@cs.unc.edu
