I have been trying to run a music program (Deluxe Music Construction
Set-DMCS) on my Amiga 1000. The program runs fine, but I can't print
because (my best guess is) DMCS can't read the 1.3 printer driver for
my NEC P2200XE. Does anyone know where I can get a 1.2 printer driver
for this printer (or know of any other reason why this program can not
print on my system? I have already copied the 1.3 driver into my
Workbench:devs/printers directory)? Thanks!

I'm not sure whether a mix of 1.2 printer drivers would at all work under a 1.3 system. Now if you really want to change to 1.2 printer drivers, there are TWO things to do: 1. Copy the 1.2 "devs:printer.device" to your Workbench (or DMCS disk) 2. Copy the 1.2 driver "devs:printers/MPS2xxx#?" to your disk (But deep in my head I remember some other people posting quite different solutions for this DMCS problem...) -- Best regards, Dr. Peter Kittel // E-Mail to \\ Only my personal opinions...
