I've recently come across a few bugs..that I have reported to GVP, and I will report this problem to CATS, howevever thought I might mention it in the light hopes of having someone answer this. I am running a A2000 W/2630. I have Two GVP series II controllers and a A2232 Multi Serial board in the same machine, running kickstart 37.56 and WB 37.26. I have found, ONLY under WB2.0, that the Series II cards must reside AFTER the A2232 in the machine, which causes me to loose one slot because of the 4 Megs of SIMM's in the one GVP host adapter. The Serial Test software that comes with the A2232 won't find the A2232 with WB2.0 if the card is placed AFTER the Series II's. However, it works fine under WB1.3 I have tried this in 3 different machines with various different conditions and can re-produce this problem every time.. I have also tried various versions of Kickstart 36.xx and 37.xx with no difference. Either the problem is with kickstart autoconfig, GVP or the A2232...And I can't seem to locate what it is...I don't have access to a 2091, so I couldn't take out the GVP... Any crazy ideas as to why this configuration may not work...I know the Roms are going to be burned soon, so I hope that my report to CATS might do something... as I feel its a autoconfig problem. But any light might help...
