I have posted this befor but this is a breif rundown. A friend of mine has an early A2000 with 2 internal and an ACUDAT external drive, 1MEG expansion also. Now the problem arrises when he boots up with the Acudat external connected. The machine asks for the VOLUME that you boot up with to be inserted into drive df0: !!. However, when you put a disk in the external drive (Acudat) there is no problems in the bootup! Also if you disconnect the external drive it's OK as well. Once the Amiga is up to workbench there is no longer any problems. I have checked the links on the Acudat drive and tried various combinations all, I'm afraid to NO evail. I have also since learned via the net that if you connect another drive to the pass through connector of the Acudat then the problem vanishes. Although I have not tried this myself I would beleive this to be so. If anyone has any suggestions or info in regards to this problem I would be happy to hear from you. I don't like going over every few days to my friends house to try things out as he uses the machine (frustrating as it is) nearly every day. Thanks in anticipation to the solutionists, Pete.
