Help!!! I know this is an old problem and probably plenty dead, but I have recently acquired an additional Amiga, this time a 1000, without a keyboard(due to the obvious, I suppose). Now I know there must be someway to convert an IBM keyboard to at least FUNCTION with a 1000, I don't care if it's not exactly right, just so long as I can USE the computer, or if anyone knows if there are still any warehouses or anything that are selling 1000 keyboards, I don't know anythin anyone might know that could help, please post here or mail me at below address(not here!). Thank you very much. snozer@toast.santa-cruz.ca.us

One of these keyboards, and a A1000 to A2000 keyboard adapter (available from several Amiga mail order houses) will work. A standard A2000 keyboard (also available by mail order) will work with this adapter on an Amiga 1000. Wildstar

The latest GRAPEVINE catalog I have lists A-1000 keyboards for about $119. A-2000 keyboards are something like $109. These prices quoted from my very fuzzy memory so no flames if they are off by $20 or so. davem

They directly plug into a A2000 and need a connector adapter to work with an A1000 ( I have one on my A1000 and it's great). The adapter is purely to change connector styles, no electronics involved.
