(I apologize if this has been covered already) Could some Commodore guru answer this question? I know that one can put a CD into the CDTV and play it like a regular CD player, and I know that the CPU can read the CD data as well. My question is, can the CPU (or (dream on) the DMA) write to the 16bit DACs? I would be totally thrilled if it could. I would like to be able to read music (which I have computed) off the hard disk and send it to the DACs. Please tell me it's so. If it's true, I'll be your first customer. If it's not, why not? How much hardware hacking would it take? Jay Dresser, jdresser@tymnet.com
