I'm having some problems with my A500 that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on: Configuration: A500 + A501 Xetec FastRam expansion w/8Meg (powered by computer) Supra SCSI Controller (powered by computer) Quantum 105S in case (self-powered) DCTV A-MaxII Problems: System sometimes refuses to boot Applications will sometimes quit unexpectedly I suspect my stock Commodore power supply is over-loaded. Any ideas?

Verrry good possibility you are over loading the power supply - it was only designed to power the A500, A501, and a second floppy. 8Meg of RAM, yep, it is overloaded. Boy, I am jealous. I know that there are (at least were) some after market power suplies, with a helluva lot more kick to them. Try either a bigger supply, or powering the SCSI controller and RAM on a separate supply.
