I have growing concern over the emminent release of the Commodore A2024
TIGA board, relating mostly to the issue of PRICE. I would expect to see
this card in the $1000-$1500 range. However, there are several TIGA 34010-
based boards on the market for PC and Mac, some of which cost as little as
$600. Considering there are several 34020-based boards which can DISPLAY
16 million colors that are in the $800-$1400 range, I believe it would be a
serious problem if the Commodore board where overpriced. We have always
prided ourselves in being able to provide fancy graphics for far less than
the competition, and it would be a great disservice if our first major
entry into the graphics market (not counting the Toaster, which I believe
can only compete in the video market) , which will actually begin to compete
with todays higher-resolution/color PC displays, makes an Amiga solution
far from cost-effective.

Additional comments are welcome.

Sincerely,
Paul Miller
