[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Montior Shopping..

Greetings, all. I am indirectly looking for all information available on
all multi-sync monitors which satisfy the following conditions..

  - The main feature that it should have is that it should be possible to
directly hook a VCR up to the monitor and be able to switch between the
video and the Amiga's output (just like the 1084 has).

  - Other than that, it should be priced under $1000 and be readily available
through a reputable mail order company or a nationwide store.

  - As far as dot pitch, max. resolution, etc.. I suppose it should be
comparable to say the 1950, or a NEC 4D..

So, if anyone knows of such a beast, please let me know about it. I've heard
that the Mitsubishi DiamondScan is similar to this but I need more conclusive
evidence. All responses are greatly appreciated no matter how opinionated or
biased. Thanks...
