If anyone out there can help, I'm REALLY curious. About 3 weeks after I bought my Amiga, it stopped working. I brought it to the the shop where I bought it, and was told I needed a new motherboard. (They said they just couldn't pinpoint the problem.) After waiting a couple of weeks for a motherboard, ("Commodore was on 'vacation'", I was told) the technician was kind enough to start tracing the prob- lem again. They ended up replacing the chip responsible for floppy control, the power supply, and the internal drive. The fault was, " an internal short in one of the components." Now, it works fine, but the power LED no longer blinks on a reboot or guru. I kinda liked the blinking LED, not to mention that now if I can't track a guru, it's all to easy to balme it on the hardware, since I already know there IS a problem somewhere. I have a 2000, 2 floppys, 3 megs RAM, the original agnus, a flickerfixer, and a 1950. I really want to know if anyone has any clues as to why the LED no longer blinks! Thanks in advance. -Steve (Duckie) .
