I'm posting this on behalf a friend who doesn't have internet access. *************************************************************** Hi, I've been using my A1000 for about 3 years. It runs all PAL software and Krammdenn SI also says that its video mode is PAL, power supply frequency 50 Hz, vertical blanking 50 Hz. Currently I've got a project such that I have to record my A1000 output to video. I connected a video directly to A1000 composite output, it doesn't give me a colour output (only black and white). A friend told me to use A500 RF mod, I have tried it, and it still give me a BW output. Then I tried to connect an NTSC colour monitor, voila, it gives me a colour output. So it seems it has an NTSC colour encoding scheme even it runs all PAL sofware perfectly. I have traced this problem, may be it is because the A500 RF modulator uses the composite sync which is at NTSC frequency. Is there any way to overcome this problem ? Will genlock help to solve this problem ? (I can afford to have a cheap genlock if neccessary, but I have to be able to record in PAL video). FYI, my A1000 is not the international (single board) version but the one with pal daugtherboard. Thanks for your info. ***********************************************************************
