Well after finally geting my BridgeBoard & GVP hardcard working together I thought I'd get my A1000 periphrials working on B2000. I did this by getting a connector and extending the "internal serial port" (The jumpers right next to the serial port.) Well something went wrong, and I'm not sure what caused it but if I used binddrivers and my GVP series II controller was in any other slot but the one nearest the power supply, the hard-drive light would go on and the machine would freeze. When the GVP was placed in the first slot I was able to access the hard-drive for a little bit, but after a random interval (or if I attemped to boot my A2088 (The only other card in my machine)) of disk usage the machine would freeze, and the hard-drive light would stay lit (just like the previous case). Now that now longer works, because I get a green screen on boot-up (Bad Chip Mem). I'm prety sure these things have got to be related. I switched the 8520's from my A1000 into the B2000 but that didn't cure it. Does anyone have an idea as to what chip was fried? Thanks again for all your help! -Sephan -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Stephan Iannce (siannce@polyslo.CalPoly.EDU) // YAAJ (Yet Another On the E^4 Year plan. \X/ Amiga Junkie) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
