I have an Amiga 500. I have one of those A500 supra drives (the new one XP).
I am satisfied with the performance of the drive. It does partitions and
it's amax compatible.
However, one annoying detail is that it's noisy. the noise is kinda sharp,
and you can hear it even with radio on. I think this is really bad for my
ears. (listening to a sustained hi-pitch sound at low intensity is bad)
This really isn't a hardware problem since it's with the drive itself. Other
then replacing it with something else, is there a way to reduce the drive
noise? (It doesn't have a fan, but it sounds like there is a fan spinning
inside, only at a highter pitch)
I value any thoughts, suggestions, bright ideas, solves.
