I just got an Expansion Technologies Zorro I expansion box with a 2 meg card, and a CLtd. SCSI interface, both for the Amiga 1000. Both devices work properly by themselves, but in combination, the Amiga doesn't manage to get much further than loading up Kickstart.... I have often read about problems like this being caused by PALs not being grounded.... So, my question is, can I do this myself? If so, does anyone have instructions on how to do this? Are instruction available in a file on some FTP site? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Al papp@remus.rutgers.edu

There was another problem with the CLtd. Interface that they had a fix for. I assume the Cltd interface is mounted first, then the expansion box. There should be an adapter that goes between then. Then, I don't remember what, you may have to cut a trace and jumper it. I'll try to find the documentation for both the grounding and the mod to the interface and email it to you. It might take time. Hopefully someone will beat me to it. Also, you might need faster pals. I sold my interface so I might not still have the info. It is available on Genie though. Good luck, John
