A friend of mine has finally decided that he wants an Amiga. So now we are trying to decide which components of his old IBM system he can keep. He's got a multisync monitor, and a 200 Meg hard drive (IDE though, so he'll need a neew controller), and a few other things which should be compatible, but he's wondering whether or not he will be able to use his tape drive. It's a Colorado Memory Systems 40, which can be bought with a controller (for the IBM), or can use the floppy controller, which is how he's got it hooked up. Are there any compatible controllers or whatever? He would like to keep as much of his old system as possible, because of the money involved. Thanks.. -Jesse Jesse Reynolds | reynolds@iastate.edu
